Long Prairie received a $10,000 grant from the Region Five Development Commission for a welcoming communities project. Harmony Park was chosen to create a place where the community gathers. There will be a pavilion going up and over 50 trees and shrubs have been planted there. It is a perfect spot for a barn quilt and especially one called
“Harmony Square”!

Todd-Wadena Electric Cooperative
500 Ash Ave. NE
Wadena MN 56482
Our logo depicts a universal symbol for energy – a lightning bolt – simplified to it’s foundational shape. The bolt is composed of two elements representing Todd-Wadena Electric Cooperative and our focus on our membership and concern for community. The design and name of this block “Woven Together” fits perfectly. The shapes of the block, similar to the lines of a lightning bolt, woven together like Todd Wadena is woven with our community. The colors mimic our logo colors.
Todd-Wadena Electric Cooperative (TWEC) is an electric utility that serves the rural community of most of Todd and Wadena counties. We are owned by the members that we serve. Our mission is to be a trusted partner providing safe, reliable and affordable energy options to our members. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for our members and embrace beneficial opportunities in a changing industry.
